The chateau was gorgeous, inside and out! The chateau sits on a river, just outside (5-10 min drive) of Saint-Emillion. We stayed in the Songe room, which was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. We were offered the option to eat with Ed and Ineke

The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Quirky, comfortable accommodation and extremely friendly hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had a lovely, tasty meal with them and they really went out of their way to get something for our fussy 8 year old to eat. It was a great start to our French holiday. -

We stayed one night after a long drive and everything was perfect; instructions were good, old farmhouse with large room, cool and comfortable (it was 29 degrees during the day). Pleasant hosts, excellent advice about where to eat in Bergerac, excellent and relaxed breakfast.

Everything. The location was incredible right in the middle of the heart of Arcachon opening onto a beautiful Plaza with lovely boutiques and shops.. I thought that hotel/aparttment was very good value for money. The Apartment had every convenience you could wish for.The decor was beautiful and the place was spotlessly clean. This was a fantastic place to stay. The accommodation was delightful, comfortable, roomy and clean. Breakfast was very nice, served in a dining room that resembled an antique showroom - so many interesting objects (and wines) to explore. Hosts Les and Clarissa were very charming and helpful, as were all staff who assisted with recommending dining

The hosts were very welcoming, The house is beautiful and we had the most comfortable bed ever! Lovely breakfast and right next to bars and restaurants and the little town. Free parking outside was also a bonus. We would recommend all who are viewing this B & B to stay, as it was a great place to visit and a nice place to be, give it a try, you will not be disappointed
