  This is our second trip to the chateau. Fantastic service in a serene environment! Larry and Christine attend to your every need and desire. Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip.   Where do I start - the ambience, the gentile hostess, the breakfasts, the rooms, the decor, the garden, the horse chestnut tree shedding it's fruits, the dogs, the cat, the advice on sumptuous meals, the evenings sitting looking at the stars, the tranquility. Magical!! It started at the gates on our arrival where we were met by the effervescent Is... vad folk säger » abella who showed us to our charming suite, full of quirky decorations and spotlessly clean bathrooms. We both had an instant sense of homeliness w - We stayed for 3 nights in March 2013. The rooms are lovely, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The setting is peaceful and idyllic, easy to find and really well placed to explore. Isabelle (the owner) couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic. I have not travelled to this part of France before, but if we come again I wouldn't look anywhere else - I would not hesitate to come back here, you honestly can't find a nicer place.

  Well Pascal made it for us. He was such a nice guy and great company, not that he intruded at all. We learned more about French culture and social life from Pascal than any guide book. Laurence, his wife, is just lovely too but we saw more of Pascal so that is why we are raving about him. Their place is supurb. We had a huge apartment type room on... vad folk säger » the first floor. It was gorgeous in every way with the best linens and the best pillows of our whole trip. Bergerac is a great place and a great base - We stayed for one night here on our way home from a holiday at this charming b&b and wish it was for longer. The room was enormous and restored to a very high level, the bed especially comfortable and shower fantastic. The whole house was full of character, peaceful and very conveniently located for the city centre. More than anything else though, Pascal and Laurence made us feel very welcome and offered help and guidance above and beyond what was expected - including Pascal going out of hi

  We loved everything about the room. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a large walk in shower. Our hosts were very accommodating and kind to us trying to speak to them in French. It is a bit difficult to find. Suggest to use the GPS coordinates to locate.
