This really is a very nice hotel. The staff were charming and extremely helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant does top end cuisine. The location was in the hills just outside Cagnes Sur Mer. The price was very reasonable. Overall a wonderful hotel. -

Tasteful decor, comfortable bed, good-sized bedroom. Excellent breakfast with lovely fresh fruit and a good selection of other items. We had a room at the side, looking out over the river which is probably better than a room facing the sea as it is quieter and there is always something to watch.

The beach at Villefranche is awful and absolutely rammed with people as
it is the only public beach for miles. Far better to use the hotels
private beach across the bay. The decor of the room was sweet but a
little dated as were the bathroom fitments. The breakfast at the hotel

is vastly overpriced at 17 euros- far better to eat breakfast at one of
the neighbouring cafes. -
The hotel is in the best location with an excellent view from your
balcony overlooking the harbour. The staff couldn't have been more
helpful and the room was very clean. Villefranche-sur-Mer is lovely and
has a train station for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc.

Food nearby was excellent (Fellini's & Cocody Sur right on beach where you can also rent chairs w cushions). Great bakery w croissants around corner to the left when facing the hotel.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel is quite small, so do not expect 24 hr room service or spa and a ipool. But the room size is perfect, large balcony ( seaside is strongly recommended), sound of waves even through closed baclcony doors, that's how close it is to the water. Everything...what a wonderful place to stay, so new, so comfortable, unbelievably good food with the Mediterranean lapping under the deck. Fabulous staff, so helpful, English speaking. Beautiful marina with great restaurants nearby. I can't say enough about this great stay.
