  Excellent location. Close to city centre. Easily reached from the airport via the Rhone Express tram, with only one change, to the metro at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then exit the metro at Ampère station, which is 150 m from the hotel. Also an easy walk (about 10 minutes) from Perrache main railway station. Studio is very clean. - A nice greeting from the owner: having told her of my arrival time she was looking from the window for a ros-bif with a suitcase (the résidence is not obvious from street level). Spotlessly clean, good wifi (but only one device can be connected at a time), comfy bed, hot water. The résidence is very well placed - 100 m from the métro, lots of cafés and boulangeries nearby, five minutes walk to Bellecourt and to the old town, five minutes to SNCF Gare Perrache.   This apartment is located in the middle of the old part of Lyon. It is very close to all the sights & museums. Everything is within walking distance including the retail area across the river. Staying in the apartment you feel like you are part of the hustle & bustle of the old part of Lyon. The climb up the stairs to the third floor is a ... vad folk säger » bit daunting at first but you get used to it quickly & after all the building dates back to the 16 centuary - Lovely comfortable bed, large bathroom with everything needed, toiletries supplied, a great welcome from Vincent who gave wonderful advice on what to visit and where to eat. Apartment is a studio but huge. Three flights of stairs and low ceilings were fun to navigate, and made us feel like we were really in Lyon old town. Could not be better located in vieux Lyon. Great stay here. Good wifi.

  The apartment was excellent for the price! Clean and comfortable. We used the sofa bed which as also just as comfortable as the bed. The owners were friendly and helpful and employed good communication. They provided coffee, tea and a few groceries and phoned us to check everything was okay.   The location. The apartment is right in the middle of the old town and close to many places to eat whether that be touristy or more high end. The cooking facilities are pretty basic but about right if you only intend to have breakfast in the hotel and will be eating out at night.   The apartment is in a beautiful old historic building in Vieux Lyon on the rue juviere. It's on the 4 th floor up a winding stone staircase. But there is a lift ! Very well located for any number of local restaurants (tip; avoid the tourist traps of Rue St Jean and stick to those on Rue du Bouef)
