  Our hosts made us feel very welcome and made sure that we had everything we needed for a lovely week-end break. Breakfasts were delicious and we were given lots of tips and information about where to go and what to do in Lyon.   Chantal is very friendly and the room was very clean. The location was excellent. it is near some gret historical places to vid with incredible view points ner by. You must take the many stairs o get to and from the old city but my son and found this to be part of the charm. We felt very sac here in Lyon and walking at night up those stairs. The house owner is extremely kind and helpful. The location is not bad. it is up in the mountain but only 5 minutes to metro. But you need to notice that the payment has to be in cash

  A few things were not made clear in the description of this hotel on letsbookhotel.com: 1) No credit cards are accepted 2) There may be a significant deposit 3) There is a $30+ cleaning fee 4) There is no front desk and you must arrange to meet the owner at the apartment. Also, there was no soap provided; for a one-night stay costing 210 euros, we... vad folk säger » had to go out and buy soap. Fortunately, there is a small grocery/market just across the street. - Our host Laurent picked us up from the airport and was extremely helpful. He drove us to the apartment and gave us many helpful hunts for our stay. The apartment is compact and had all that we required for our stay. it was in immaculate condition.The bedroom is in a loft but this didn't worry us at all.
