  The hotel is extremelly well located, just across the river from the historical center.The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean and the stone walls gave it a very authentic feel. Great cost-benefit hotel in Lyon if you are not looking to spend too much. No luxury, but very cozy. We loved the hotel, the staff could not have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. Our room was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. We would definately stay here again. Breakfast was traditional French continental style breakfast; exactly what we wanted.

  The hotel does not look much from the outside but is very modern and beautiful on the inside. The rooms are large by European standards and well set up incl. tea/coffee making and fridge. Bus stop over the road. walk to the old town (5 Min.) Walk to the city centre (15 Min.)   The location was excellent for tourists. It was close to many good restaurants, the Tourist office, and beautiful shops. The staff was outstanding.   We really enjoyed our stay. The school themed design is quirky and original. Our 6th rooms were light, airy, comfortable and stylish with exceptional views from the balcony. The breakfast was good (pastries, cheese, ham, yoghurts, freshly squeezed juice, coffee in thermos flasks - very school trip!). It was very good value for the location, right in the old town near lots - Absolutely charming hotel especially if you're of a certain age as the school theme exudes throughout, including furnishings in rooms and a sense of it at breakfast too! Having failed to be alerted on your website to the hotel's limited parking, we were saved from a fruitless search around Vieux Lyon for a space by the receptionist's thoughtfulness and consideration. Can't wait to return.

  Excellent location. Close to city centre. Easily reached from the airport via the Rhone Express tram, with only one change, to the metro at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, then exit the metro at Ampère station, which is 150 m from the hotel. Also an easy walk (about 10 minutes) from Perrache main railway station. Studio is very clean. - A nice greeting from the owner: having told her of my arrival time she was looking from the window for a ros-bif with a suitcase (the résidence is not obvious from street level).   The location of the roomy apartment in Viex Lyon. Initially disappointed as it was not one of the 2 described on the Internet site and was not on rue de Boeuf. However it was still near cathedral St Jean and well located.The kitchen and bathroom facilities are very basic but serve the purpose. In Lyon it's a good idea to make reservation for dinner.We had a terrific dinner at Les Andrets but could get in only one of the 2 night's of - We stayed in the double bedroom with small kitchenette, first floor, window at the court yard. Amazing how silent the room was! Very beautifull decorations/art. Every time i looked around in the room, i discovered something new. Very good shower. Very good restaurant recommandations of Frederic Jean. I would really recommend this one!
