  The hotel does not look much from the outside but is very modern and beautiful on the inside. The rooms are large by European standards and well set up incl. tea/coffee making and fridge. Bus stop over the road. walk to the old town (5 Min.) Walk to the city centre (15 Min.)   We really enjoyed our stay. The school themed design is quirky and original. Our 6th rooms were light, airy, comfortable and stylish with exceptional views from the balcony. The breakfast was good (pastries, cheese, ham, yoghurts, freshly squeezed juice, coffee in thermos flasks - very school trip!). It was very good value for the location, right in the old town near lots - Absolutely charming hotel especially if you're of a certain age as the school theme exudes throughout, including furnishings in rooms and a sense of it at breakfast too! Having failed to be alerted on your website to the hotel's limited parking, we were saved from a fruitless search around Vieux Lyon for a space by the receptionist's thoughtfulness and consideration. Can't wait to return.
