  The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. My boyfriend and I (we are both 24yrs old) visited the hotel spa during our stay for a back massage which was lovely - I highly recommend. The breakfast - Excellent value at the Hotel Montmorency but great bonus to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Du Chateau.   the suite was great, a good size and the huge bath tub and wet room were lovely. the hotel gardens are very classy and the location next to the entrance to the walled city was perfect to stroll to.   Wonderful hotel in the heart of the Cité. Staff were most helpful and the shuttle service to the hotel from car park was marvellous. A great holiday experience! - The beautiful view from our room.   The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice, clean and looked new. The hotel is a bit outside the city, but excellent location if you have a car as it is next to a large shopping center and a short drive to the historic Carcassonne. Both the old town and the Carcassonne castle is worth a whole vaccation. We only spendt 1 night there, bu... vad folk säger » t wished we could have stayed a day or two longer. The only downside to the hotel is that the signs to get there is a bit small. We totally overlooked - It was more like a U.S. motel than any of the 20+ hotels where we have stayed in Spain and France. Because we were traveling by car, this was wonderful! It was an easy drive from the hotel to La Cité and the castle. If you are not driving to Cascassonne, this is not where you want to stay. The hotel is new and spacious.

  Modern hotel close to airport and 10 minutes drive to old walled city. We used as a stop over en route and it was perfect for that. Room was small but comfortable and very clean with good shower and facilties.
