  The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just yards away from the magnificent cathedral. Rooms - very comfortable and perfectly formed. - The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters. The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right behind the rooms in the annex.

  One of the best places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated, great taste. A wonderful, big room, with wooden floors, polished and clean and a view on the park in front of the house. A gourmand breakfast, with different varieties of jams, ham, Camembert, fresh baguette, croissants,... vad folk säger » freshly squeezed juice and so on. Very nice hosts, and English speaking. He recommended a restaurant in Bayeux where we had a wonderful dinner and ev - The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

  atmosfär - We had a large beautifully appointed room that opened on to lovely gardens and a bathroom with plenty of space. The guesthouse was extremely charming as was our host Anthony who went out of his way to make us feel very welcome and assist us in anyway that he could. Our room was exquisite, with very fine antique furniture and the bathroom was perfect. A hotel with parking in the middle of Bayeux was a great asset to our touring holiday.   Hotel was easy to get to. The staff was excellent both at the front desk and the support staff. Everyone spoke english . The front desk was extremely helpful with places to dine , sights, and shopping. Very friendly. Room was very comfortable and quiet. - laundry even though i didnt get a chance to use the facility

  An excellent short stay holiday, the setting of the Chateau was idealic, staff were very helpful and welcoming. The walk to Bayeux was approx 15-20 minutes along residential roads, so whilst not suitable for those who are unable to walk this distance, for us it was part of the charm of the holiday.   We stayed at the Relais St.-Loup for five nights in may 2013. The reception by our hosts was heartwarming and so very kind. The house is a former 18th century hunting lodge, a coache house with a magnificant (closed at night with of plenty free parking space) garden and is completely restored by the owners and hosts, Nelly and Eric.   It was a cute/home like place. We stayed in the attic. It had a queen size bed and a twin bed. The Cider store below was very charming for breakfast. The owners were very nice. We got lost and called and it was getting late. Past their preferred check in time...but they were very understanding (we called to let them know we were close and lost).... vad folk säger » In the evening the street is very quiet. - Beautiful restored house. Beautifully decorated and clean Owners helpful and very welcoming A real plus that the family also runs an apple orchard which produces Calvados, cider, juice and jellies.   Very French setting. Owner and her children were outstanding. They went out of their way to make experience good. Drove me to Mont st. Michel when scheduled tour fell apart. Drove me to train station for return early in am. The breakfasts were very good. Good people very accomodating. Gardens and location were great.   While staying in Bayeux my husband and I spent 3 very pleasant nights at Logis de St. Jean. Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and served delicious breakfasts of local cheeses, breads and fruits. It's in a wonderful location for touring, shopping and dining in Bayeux on foot and our hosts recommended some very good restaurants nearby. ... vad folk säger » I would definitely stay there again if I were going to Bayeux. - The hospitality of the proprietors, the beautiful, well-maintained old building, the small town setting.... We were not ready to leave at vacation's end. Breakfast, which was included, was spectacular. We had access to a lounging/dining area so we could relax and have a glass of wine, answer emails, etc. A home-away-from-home, it was for us.
