The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to look after us. The
hotel itself was picture perfect, nestled along a quaint street just
yards away from the magnificent cathedral. The location was central to
town, and parking was really convenient. The hotel is small, and I guess
that's why it's only a 2 star hotel - though it feels more like

The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and
were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters.
The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was
delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right
behind the rooms in the annex.

One of the best places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated, great taste. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

Côté chic familial - C'était pour un 20e anniversaire de mariage et ils nous ont offert un bouquet de fleurs! Le personnel était très accueillant. Très bon petit déjeuner. Excellent matelas. Salle de bain moderne.

It was a cute/home like place. We stayed in the attic. It had a queen size bed and a twin bed. The Cider store below was very charming for breakfast. The owners were very nice. We got lost and called and it was getting late. Past their preferred check in time.

A real plus that the family also runs an apple orchard which produces Calvados, cider, juice and jellies. We learned so much about the process to make these products and were served apple juice and apple jelly at breakfast.

Very French setting. Owner and her children were outstanding. They went
out of their way to make experience good. Drove me to Mont st. Michel
when scheduled tour fell apart. Drove me to train station for return
early in am. The breakfasts were very good. Good people very
accomodating. Gardens and location were great.

The staff was FABULOUS. Attentive to our needs, friendly and responsive.
The breakfast was continental, but there was plenty of everything, with coffee flowing all morning.

While staying in Bayeux my husband and I spent 3 very pleasant nights at Logis de St. Jean. Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and served delicious breakfasts of local cheeses, breads and fruits. It's in a wonderful location for touring, shopping and dining in Bayeux on foot and our hosts recommended some very good restaurants nearby.

The hospitality of the proprietors, the beautiful, well-maintained old building, the small town setting.... We were not ready to leave at vacation's end.
Breakfast, which was included, was spectacular. We had access to a lounging/dining area so we could relax and have a glass of wine, answer emails, etc.
A home-away-from-home, it was for us.
