I can't say enough good things about La Naomath. The setting was
peaceful and beautiful, and just a few minutes' drive to the town
center of Bayeux. The cottage was so cute, roomy, very clean, and
comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable,
even bringing us breakfast on our first morning as we had arrived after
the stores

We liked everything. The owners were very nice and friendly. We stayed
in the family room which was quite large (one large bedroom and a
sitting room). It had one full bath with a shower and another room with
a sink which was helpful. The garden was beautiful. It was very peaceful
and quiet. It was a perfect location for the D-Day sites (you must have
a car). The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and tidy. There was
parking on site behind a closed gate. You receive a gate opener so you

My husband and I stayed at Le Castel, Noble Guesthouse in Bayeux for 3

Madame was absolutely the perfect host, leaving us alone enough to not be rude, but interacting when comfortable and appropriate to do so. The house is her home and is simply lovely. It's close to the shops in Bayeux, the Landing Beaches and a dozen other different attractions/places of interest. the food in Bayeux was varied and value for money and the locals were very welcoming and friendly. One of the best places we have ever stayed, and we travel a lot. The house is absolutely beautiful and extremely well decorated, great taste. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
The location was perfect for walking to the sites and to public transportation and right across from a large quiet park. The rooms were well decorated and very spacious. Ours looked over the garden on one side and the park on the other side. It was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling and available for a reasonable time period.

Bayeux is a picturesque town in Normandy and I'm so happy we chose La Tour Louise as our base for exploring the region. William, our host, was very hospitable and gave excellent tips on things to see and do. In fact, the places he pointed out to us were probably the highlights of our tour of the D-Day sites.

The Location is excellent for exploring Bayeux on foot. Most of the major sightseeing is within several blocks and parking is free for those with an automobile. It is also a great point for day tripping to all parts of the Normandy coast and WWII Invasion points of interest. We stayed 3 nights and could have found enough activities for many more nights. Many restaurants nearby.

We really enjoyed our two night stay in Bayeux, the highlight of which was staying at this wonderful B&B. Run with loving and personal care by Carol and Jerome, the place is charming. It is extremely conveniently located to the old city center, including the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral, and is a great base from which to visit D-Day sites.

Superb breakfasts that changed daily, attention to detail in the bedroom
and bathroom, having the bed made and clean towels each day,
tea/coffee making facilities, off street parking, great gardens,
proximity to the city centre and many historical sights, exceptional

Very French setting. Owner and her children were outstanding. They went
out of their way to make experience good. Drove me to Mont st. Michel
when scheduled tour fell apart. Drove me to train station for return
early in am. The breakfasts were very good. Good people very
accomodating. Gardens and location were great.

While staying in Bayeux my husband and I spent 3 very pleasant nights at Logis de St. Jean. Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and served delicious breakfasts of local cheeses, breads and fruits. It's in a wonderful location for touring, shopping and dining in Bayeux on foot and our hosts recommended some very good restaurants nearby.

The hospitality of the proprietors, the beautiful, well-maintained old building, the small town setting.... We were not ready to leave at vacation's end.
Breakfast, which was included, was spectacular. We had access to a lounging/dining area so we could relax and have a glass of wine, answer emails, etc.
A home-away-from-home, it was for us.
