  The location was perfect in the countryside and we love the peace and quiet yet we were just 2km from the Plitvice Lakes Park entrance. There was plenty of space in the apartment & a good size table to have meals.   Nice room; the one we had on the top floor fit 3 people (one double and a single) and had a little mini fridge in the bathroom. Lots of space for just the two of us. Wifi was a little slow but it was connected most of the time. There was a small balcony which was nice. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Plitvice and there is a small grocery store a... vad folk säger » nd a restaurant less than 5 minutes away (in opposite directions though). The older lady who received us was very nice and explained the different tra - Villa Vuk is located within walking distance of one of the entrances to Plitvice Lakes. It's situated in a small community on a property with lots of trees and free parking. Our hostess, Olivia was very friendly and helpful, showing us a map of how to get to the lakes, and a nearby restaurant and grocery store. Her place is extremely clean, had a separate entrance, a comfortable bed and a little balcony overlooking her backyard. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vuk and would recommend it to anyone

  A very smart place, impeccably maintained and cleaned (at least early season when we went). Great outdoor area and large car park. The room was basic and compact but pleasant. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower worked well. It's 20-25 mins walk from the Villa to the entrance of the Plitvice Park (quite steep so if you're average fitnes... vad folk säger » s or above you'll be ok). Breakfast at this Villa was nice enough but charged extra at 6 EURO per day per person which seems a lot in Croatia for cont - It was a really beautiful little residence and the owner was so sweet and wanting to make our stay so comfortable. It was very close to Entry 1 of Plitvice lakes, only a short drive for us, but it wouldn't have been a long walk either. There was a small eating place across the street which made the largest pizza's I've ever seen. Overall a perfect place to stay after or before the lakes.

  This family run hotel is a lovely house in a beautifully decorated green area. Everything was nice and well prepared. The room was quite big with enough space for the stuff. The owner was a nice and friendly lady with a good knowledge of German language who prepared a nice homemade simple but nice breakfast. It was very good value & I enjoyed one of the best trout meals that I'd ever eaten!

  We had a nice stay! Room was quite comfortable, though a little small. If you are planning to Roam around the Lakes and just crash here, it is a great room. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the National park, if you know the short-cut, which the owner was kind enough to tell us. We got breakfast for 7 euros extra (per person).   Very friendly woman whose place it is. The room was large and well decorated. The shower was heavenly. We could sit outside and enjoy the weather. As with other reviewers the husband was extremely helpful and drove us to a cash machine and then on to the bus stop when we had a little less cash than we thought.   The host Anna is very kind and attentive. She is always available to answer your questions for regional visits. We are happy with our 3 days in the apartment with kitchen. Actually Poljanak is a such good location (if you have a car) for visiting the Plitvice park. You can leave your car near the view point of the big water fall (just before the ... vad folk säger » small bridge) and start your visit there, then continue to the lower lake and to the embankment of boat point 3. It's excellent. Highly recommended. - Lovely staff!!!! We got very lost driving here and arrived just after midnight, two hours later than anticipated, and we were met by Ankica who was very understanding and accommodating. The room and bathroom was incredibly clean and the breakfast was tasty. She even gave us a great itinerary for our day in Plitvice National park. I would not hesitate in recommending her B&B.

  Lovely place to stay the family made us very welcome and very helpful even offered us cold beers both nights we were there. Very near the Piltvice Lakes which you can park free with a motorcycle. " thank you for making our stay so lovely x " - Nice and tidy room, very clean bathroom. There were two nice small dogs keeping the house :)
