  Breza located in a very picturesque area near the big lake and waterfall. To get there you definitely need a car, better with a gps navigation, or have a transfer arranged for you. Lovely apartment with country views.Superb breakfast with the offer of more bread, ham, cheese etc to make sandwiches for lunch! Delicious evening meals. We had to opt out on the 3rd evening as we couldn't manage to eat it all!! Good location on the far side of the Plitvice lakes away from most of the tourist accommodation so we could stroll down to the park entrance and catch the boat, leaving the car at the guesth

  The rooms were lovely, it is clearly a new building, the furniture was good quality and the room was really clean. The breakfast was good, typical of other breakfasts we had in Croatia. The location was fantastic for the park, one of the park entrances is about 150m from the lodge, and its a 5-10 minute walk down to the lakeside and access to wa... vad folk säger » lks and to the boat which crosses the lake. The Lodge is located close to a good restaurant, Ethno Restaurant - highly recommended, although be warne - Newly opened Lodge with a lovely family atmosphere. The owner Ivan and his mother are doing everything as they find their feet after just opening - give them a bit of time to get over little teething problems and I'm sure that they will have a thriving business. The location is PERFECT and a stones throw from the lakes. They don't serve food, but dinner was only a short walk to another lodge for a beautiful meal.   This is very pictural place with cozy garden and cozy room. There are some viewpoints in few steps from the house. From these viewpoints you can see very nice pictures of the lakes and some waterfalls. In a couple steps to the side of Zagreb near the last viewpoint you can find the stairs leading down to the big waterfall, to the down part of lake... vad folk säger » s and to the cave. There is a restaraunt with tasty dishes near the Villa. We also had a breakfast in the terrace of the Villa. We were at the Villa f - What a great place! We were greeted with homemade plum brandy and juice when we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable...very interesting that they heat the water with a fire. It's in a great location...just walk down the road and you're at entrance P3 for the park. There's a great restaurant across the road.   Staff (mum and dad) basic English but their sun speak good English. Drove us to the nearest store for food, Korana (swimming) and Plitvice Lakes National Park ( around 7:30) for free. There is a route to big waterfall (free entrance to the park - however, ferry and buses cannot access for free) and its about 1 hour 30 mins walk. Close to Korana wh... vad folk säger » ere we can swim!!! - Such a warm welcome from the owner, who did absolutely everything to make us feel at home. The house is very clean, and the rooms are very convenient, so is the big bathroom. Breakfast is a good value and a great start for a day at Plitvice NP, which is located 5 minutes from the guesthouse. Excellent value for money!

  The location was perfect in the countryside and we love the peace and quiet yet we were just 2km from the Plitvice Lakes Park entrance. There was plenty of space in the apartment & a good size table to have meals.   Nice room; the one we had on the top floor fit 3 people (one double and a single) and had a little mini fridge in the bathroom. Lots of space for just the two of us. Wifi was a little slow but it was connected most of the time. There was a small balcony which was nice. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Plitvice and there is a small grocery store a... vad folk säger » nd a restaurant less than 5 minutes away (in opposite directions though). The older lady who received us was very nice and explained the different tra - Villa Vuk is located within walking distance of one of the entrances to Plitvice Lakes. It's situated in a small community on a property with lots of trees and free parking. Our hostess, Olivia was very friendly and helpful, showing us a map of how to get to the lakes, and a nearby restaurant and grocery store. Her place is extremely clean, had a separate entrance, a comfortable bed and a little balcony overlooking her backyard. We enjoyed our stay at Villa Vuk and would recommend it to anyone

  A very smart place, impeccably maintained and cleaned (at least early season when we went). Great outdoor area and large car park. The room was basic and compact but pleasant. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower worked well. It's 20-25 mins walk from the Villa to the entrance of the Plitvice Park (quite steep so if you're average fitnes... vad folk säger » s or above you'll be ok). Breakfast at this Villa was nice enough but charged extra at 6 EURO per day per person which seems a lot in Croatia for cont - It was a really beautiful little residence and the owner was so sweet and wanting to make our stay so comfortable. It was very close to Entry 1 of Plitvice lakes, only a short drive for us, but it wouldn't have been a long walk either. There was a small eating place across the street which made the largest pizza's I've ever seen. Overall a perfect place to stay after or before the lakes.

  This family run hotel is a lovely house in a beautifully decorated green area. Everything was nice and well prepared. The room was quite big with enough space for the stuff. The owner was a nice and friendly lady with a good knowledge of German language who prepared a nice homemade simple but nice breakfast. The breakfast, particularly the coffee, was excellent. On the day we'd had a long hike in the park, our hostess cooked us dinner (not included in the room fee). It was very good value & I enjoyed one of the best trout meals that I'd ever eaten!

  Really good hotel, though has 2 stars only. I would rate it much better than a lot of 3* hotels in Europe.
