  Wow what a fabulous place. I couldn't believe how big our suite was, more like an apartment.We had a full kitchen as well. The seating area was really comfortable and we had views over the harbour. There was also a hot tub on the balcony which was great just right for watching the sunset. We were in the centre of the town with all the shops and re... vad folk säger » staurants and there was a good supermarket if you preferred to cook yourself. Near to whale watching companies as well. - The Himwitsa Lodge is a beautiful place to stay. The room was first class. It was very clean and comfortable with lovely decor and furniture and outstanding views across the Pacific ocean. The staff and proprietors were lovely, kind and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend Himwitsa Lodge. Tofino is a lovely unspoilt place and we hope it remains so. Being from England, we didn't even mind the heavy rain.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The kitchen facilities were wonderful.   I love the location of Ocean Village - right on the beach, with a wonderful view of the ocean and islands. The cabins are well equipped, and linens can be changed as often as you wish. Staff are friendly and always ready to help. Must love the place as I've been back on a fairly regular basis since 1985, when my late husband and I first discovered... vad folk säger » it., Noticed my cabin had been upgraded with new kitchen, bed, and bathroom. - - Perfect location, only steps away from the beach which urges for an evening stroll on MacKenzie Beach each night! ;-) - great value for your money. These cottages are much cheaper to rent then on most other resorts on the beach. Still everything you need is there.

  The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Bathroom behind slats from bedroom, but could see the view from the bath too! We were warned that our first allocated room may be noisy since under the restaurant - and they kindly mo... vad folk säger » ved us to the top floor. I'm sure the first room would have been fine though. Could walk for miles from the beach entrance...just lovely. - Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better. Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect! Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze. Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.

  The motel was a few steps from the beach. The receptionist was personable. The room was very basic but had everything we wanted or needed--including a full kitchen. - room was adequate - not fancy but comfortable and nice location. Pool was a pleasant surprise - large. I would go again.

  LOVED the beach: wide at low tide and beautiful walking. It's a surfer's destination and they were out in March in wetsuits!! Fun to watch. I want to go back and try it in the summer. Resort is clean, well designed, modern, efficient, comfortable...it was great. I"d travel back across the continent again just to stay here. The unit provides all the dishes and utensils you need to cook a meal. There is a shared BBQ available, lounge, hot tub and observation room for storm watching. Located on Cox Bay it is easy access to a lovely beach.
