The restaurant's cuisine is exquisite, with a lovely atmosphere and a gorgeous sea view.
Our dog is important for us. Therefore it was important to see the hotel is not only pet friendly, but "pet lover". -

The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better.
Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect!
Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze.
Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.

The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one.
Freshly baked cookies in the evening were a nice touch too.
The breakfasts were very good and free wi- fi was welcome. In terms of location, it was perfect - we went into Tofino for whale watching and up to Wi

The fantastic beach location and all the rooms face onto the beach and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The connection to the first nations community. The beds were very comfortable. Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food service - we were just out too much to be there for meals. Would like to receive any promotional rates email

The history of the Tin-wis was very interesting - it was the site of a residential school in the past and the First Nation people have done an amazing job of turning this place into a beautiful resort area for many to enjoy! the staff was very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the Bistro on site. The food was excellent!

the location of this hotel makes it a dream. Right out of our room we could see the beach only about 50 steps from our balcony. A surfers paradise. The beach is well used by others which as a new surfer gives me comfort. the boardwalk close by gives you multiple areas for sunset watching every night. this resort is fairly basic (no pools or hot tubs etc) however, we could have stayed there another week for sure. Highly recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. -

The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat. The spa studio is the perfect size for a cozy getaway for singles or couples! The space is used so well, making it feel open and spacious. It is lovely and private, but still with a nice community of neighbors close by- which is great if you want to go up with a bunch of people! So close to the beach, so worth the decent price tag!!!
