  Large comfortable rooms. Ultra clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful indoor pool area with large hot tub. Awesome location in downtown Banff, within walking distance to everything in town. Parking underneath the lodge, in a town where there is little to no parking. - the view of the mountains is extraordinary. the conference was in the hotel ... vad folk säger » so easy access. The underground parking and again easy walking access to everything. the sink outside of the bathroom was great as well as the little fridge. - We had a great weekend in Banff and will definitely stay at the Banff Park Lodge again.   We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park). We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car. We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf... vad folk säger » f, who always smile and give a warm and friendly greeting, and that includes all the staff we met either indoors or outdoors. We love seeing the wildl - The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

  Everything. This was a luxury hotel at a moderate price. Room was large and spacious. It had a soaker tub and separate shower. Bed was so comfortable. It had a pool/Jacuzzi/steam room. It was a short walk (1/2 - 1 mile) to downtown but far enough away from the noise and crowds of downtown shoppers. Complimentary breakfast was good. We were on the 2nd floor and the floors felt heated, not sure if it was from rooms below or actual floor heating. The bathroom is huge, separate tub from glass shower. Thank you to the staff at Charleton Cedar Court.

  restaurant was good and staff was excellent - We really enjoyed our stay and the closeness to all areas. The staff were wonderful, especially when we had a concern about the heat in our room, and the coffee machine was replaced quickly when discovered not working.

  This B&B is welcoming, comfortable and affordable. The location is great, service was wonderful - not just the breakfast but also the hiking recommendations for the area. I travel quite extensively and this is by far, my new favorite B&B.   The room size, it was awesome and down duvets and view were spectacular. Very accommodating. Our room was not ready when we checked in, said we could leave our bags in store room. When we went down to get them from the parkade, a porter came and found us and told us that the clerk had a room ready for us. We arrived only to find out I had made our booking for the following month! The manager was really kind and helpful and was able to find us a room even on a busy Family Day long weekend.
