  Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. I (62) and my wife Saliha (54) made a 24-hour visit to Salzburg on our way from Munich to Vienna based on the advise of our son who has been a student in Munich Technica... vad folk säger » l University. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  Boutique Guesthouse Arte Vida is perfectly situated in the historic core of Salzburg, yet at the same time is like your own personal oasis far away from daily city life. We arrived late that night and she bought us water, bread and butter etc. Our stay in Salzburg was made even more memorable by the apartment.
