  The owners are very friendly. They did their best to help us when we got some troubles with the car. The location is pretty good if you travel by car. - Staff friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble! :)

  Breakfast was good to include in the cost of the room. Great coffee. Room 218 had the best surprise - our lovely balcony. We enjoyed wine and cheese and crackers and a good read each afternoon on our peaceful balcony. The bier garden had great food at fair prices. Parking was a plus. Didn't move the car while we were there as public transportation... vad folk säger » was so convenient. The desk clerk placed our leftover picnic meat and cheese in the kitchen refrigerator until we were ready to leave. Comfortable be - Rooms were really clean and comfortable, even if one had a really small bathroom. It's a bit far from the centre of the city, but there are a lot of bus and it's easy to get everywhere.Staff really kind and great breakfast!

  Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. I (62) and my wife Saliha (54) made a 24-hour visit to Salzburg on our way from Munich to Vienna based on the advise of our son who has been a student in Munich Technica... vad folk säger » l University. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

  Great location just out of Salzburg. If you're not traveling by car it could be a bit out of the way. We're in the area quite often so we have no issues with driving into town so it wasn't an issue. Check for public transportation if you're taking the train into town.
