  Loved the facilities, location, recreational facilities, amenities (even the changerooms and toilets were recently updated in the rec room). The staff were VERY friendly, professional & helpful, especially Matt - who seemed to appear when we needed someone (to remove pool covers, or who appeared holding a large pile of stripey towels!). the lo... vad folk säger » cation was particularly perfect - our trip was based around Sovereign Hill. But, also having 4 children with us, ranging from 1-12years, the Red Lion - To arive after a 5hour drive and be told that you have been upgraded to a spa room was the BEST EVERY,It was my BIRTHDAY. I loved all of it, the room was a great size, the meals at the resturont wear delish and great value for money, the staff wear polite and very helpful. Having a long day out then coming back to the room and soak in the spa, then just wall out the door over to the restaurant for dinner was the best did not have to go anywhere it was just all there.   We liked the free canoeing and the lovely waterway surrounding the grounds. We also liked the free use of tennis courts and equipment provided. - The little lake outside our room was really lovely and the rooms were very quiet.
