  The hosts were very helpful and friendly. My room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable and quiet despite being on the road into town. A short walk takes you into the lovely township of Halls Gap. Perfectly situated to explore the beauty of the Grampians/Gariwerd region.   It's only 5 mins drive to 12 apostles, although it's the isolated hotel on an unpavedroad. It might be a little bit scared for the first sight. She apologised that the new apartment wasn't as good (actually it was better) she was friendly and welcoming. She gave great advice if where to eat in town. Apartment had washer and dryer which was great.   A great place to stay. We were in Melbourne for the Wagner Ring Cycle. The location could not have been better nor the apartment more comfortable. - We loved how central we were and could walk both into the city or to Chapple Street for shopping and food.
