  The staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even walking into the reception and smelling the beautiful scent of the burning candles was such a lovely experience. I ended up staying for 2 nights as I had scored a free night through the overstay program!   I liked almost everything and would have scored 'excellent' for all questions except for a few minor details that let the Buckingham down. I detailed them in my feedback at the time. Free wifi a definite benefit although a bit erratic at times. Good location for getting into the city as tram just around the corner at Highett. Excellent experience would definitely return if we came again.

  Quay West Suites provided all that we needed for a weekend trip to Melbourne. It is within convenient walking distance from the NGV, Federation Square, The Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, etc, with lots of restaurants at Southbank. Car parking is provided with Valet Service which worked very well for us (although it is not cheap). Rooms with river o - The location was fantastic for exploring Melbourne - close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel pool was beautiful and I really enjoyed swimming there during my stay. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rates and the choices were plentiful and a great way to start our day.Overall, I was happy with my stay.

  The waiter at the burger bar was fantastic - he really deserves to be acknowledged. My family and I had to attend a funeral that same day and he was fantastic that night we went in to the bar for tea. He entertained us for the night within his role and demonstrated how much he cares and contributes to his job and reputation of the resort.   After a long international flight the Mantra was amazing. We arrived late at night so only spent about 7 hours at the hotel. But we ha the best sleep. Just what we need prior to an early morning flight. We didn't know how to get the bus to the hotel however it was only a $11 cab ride. From the helpful reception to my room to the spa, my experience was wonderful. Having found a reasonable rate on Booking, I expected something fairly basic, and this pleasantly exceeded my expectations.
