  Coming from a Hotel Management background, I know what it means to make people feel at home- I felt that everything was easy and effortless- by this I mean that everything was seamless, and the staff all gave the genuine impression that it was truly a pleasure to work there and look after the guests. Nothing was a problem- everyone was exceptional... vad folk säger » ly friendly, welcoming and pleasant. I also wish to make specific mention to the food- I had the pleasure of enjoying the chef's specials last Sunday - Our apartment with full kitchen, laundry and enormous bath was perfect for our family. It immediately felt homely with the bonus of comforts and amenities of a top class resort. The rainforest boardwalk was a joy to explore and the hotel was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town centre, or a 10 minute stroll to Tallow Beach. Complementary morning yoga on the verandah was also a lovely way to start the day. The staff were a stand-out; consistently pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

Staff were extra helpful and friendly. The room was large and well designed. The best features included the bathroom with its own spa bath and the large balcony overlooking the golf course which was stunning. Being a smoker, the ashtray on the balcony table was much appreciated and made the morning coffees more enjoyable.

  Spacious rooms, a very warm welcome and a beautiful pool and spa. We were welcomed with a glass of complimentary bubbly and when we got back to the hotel at night, we found a night cap with some chocolate waiting on us in our room.   All the features of the motel, from furnishings to the site we stayed in and the excellent staff. I will be recommending The Grand Mercure Hills Lodge to everyone I know who are planning to stay in Sydney and I intend to make it one of my first stops next time I visit Sydney.
