  The view of the river was great and we enjoyed being able to sit outside our room and have breakfast in the sun or walk on the grass (we had a lower level room which opened onto the garden).   We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Our room had lots of space for our little one to zoom around in his walker & was at the far end so nice & quiet. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Facilities are good and comfortable and no issues. We were also walked through by Joanne after we arrived for our second stay to be shown easier access from outdoors to lower ground.   The lady that owns and runs this motel was fabulous. She called me on the morning that I was arriving to see if I needed to be picked up from the airport! Transfers to and from Gold Coast Airport were included! She was so helpful! The room was lovely and clean, beds were comfy.
