  I loved my stay at the northern greenhouse. I was warmly greeted in reception when i arrived. I stayed in a clean, spacious 6 bed dorm with a kitchenette, fridge and ensuite. The outdoor seating area was friendly and relaxed without a party atmosphere which is exactly what I was looking for. There was great mix of people, had I known what a positive experience it would be I would still be there now! - Lockers in the rooms with sockets and a shelf to charge devices. Breakfast and WIFI included in the price. Great location, clean, nice relaxed hostel, lots of couches in the communal area, spacious dorm rooms. Very helpful staff. Best hostel I've been in so far!

  My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much! The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure.   This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. About ten minutes walk into town which was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful from the night life.Loved the local connection to Papua New Guinea and the artwork at the hotel. The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us. The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

Great views from the balcony, close to so many facilities, very nicely presented, extremely clean, every thing we required was in the apartment.   Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff who recommended some nice tours. Clean premises and well planned layout with plenty of toilets, showers, kitchens and common areas to relax. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great! - I stayed here for one week, the staff are really helpful and friendly, when I arrival cairns, they pick me up from bus station immediately. the kitchen is amazing, you can get any stuff you want. the room is very clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is very soft. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to.

  Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place. Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly & helpful along with the tour desk. The club though is brilliant!! Large & loud & does $10 meal/drink deal which was a life save... vad folk säger » r. Would stay here again whenever in Cairns. - Stayed from 19.2.13 - 26.2.13 in room 417 and had an awesome stay. I went with 3 people from work in Brisbane as a get away.
