  We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. The hotel provides lunchboxes for hiking, one is enough for two people. Location is excellent halfway between two main trailheads, within five mins walk of most restaurants.

  Friendly, helpful staff ( especially Adolfo ) who made sure we had everything we wanted. He even called the tour operators and helped book our day trips. Rooms are spacious and clean . View from the room offers a magnificent landscape of Andes, snow covered peaks and a turquoise lake which is huge!

  We LOVED this hotel. Its like an oasis of luxury at a good price. Room is spacious and comfortable, with heat in both the room and bathroom. Bathroom is large and spotless. Service is also great. Breakfast buffet is good. Location could not be better, 30secs to the main street of El Calafate. - It was great... location, rooms, amenities, cleanlin... vad folk säger » ess and the staff.
