The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. I was there for my retirement party, arrangements were taken care of by 2 collegues, food was excellent, staff very friendly. We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be! Very big rooms!!!! So you have a lot of space for your luggage etc. You can really feel and see that this is a brand new hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return! PS, they don't have a car park, but it is not a problem as they have a lot of vey cheap parking facilities just around the corner.

I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs.
The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave.
As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay.
Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.
