We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be! The location of the hotel was excellent, the surrounding countryside and the views where second to none.The spa facilities where of a high standard we received excellent service. Upgrade to executive suite for no extra charge. Leisure Club facilities and very friendly and helpful staff who made you feel very welcome. Breakfasts were excellent too. The owners Roger & Lori were very accommodating as we arrived rather late the first night but they still served us dinner and then we changed our booking for 2 nights instead of 1. Lori explained that we would have to change rooms for the second which we did and they gave us an equally lovely room with

& found that it ticked all the boxes, Clean, Tidy, and the
proprietors both Roger & Lori were helpful & friendly. They
have put a lot of hard work in bringing a shell of a property back to
life again. The hotel is situated in a lovely spot along side the
harbour inlet. I will be using this hotel in the future when in that
area on business from now on.
