If you stand in front of the house, our room is on second floor to the
right. It’s small, but made us feel very good and romantic. The view
from our room is excellent. To sit in the window alcove with best

The manager, John, cares greatly about people living there and has a great sense of humour. It was great chatting with him and getting more to know about Scotland in general. With his customer-first mindset, he has made the stay really enjoyable because breakfast is personalized to one's taste. The room is also really neat and clean even though it was not really big. Nice bathroom and all. All in all, staying in Onslow Guest House is a good highlight of my trip after staying in larger accommoda

The owner of the b&b was really nice, available and made us feel at ease soon. He is also a good cook, we had home made bread (he did it) for breakfast and it was very good. The en-suite room was very nice, confortable and perfectly clean, with anything you need inside. I would certainly reccomend it. -

Our stay at Chalmers was excellent and if we travel to the area again we will certainly use this Bed and Breakfast - the hosts were very friendly and gave us information relating to the area and how to get to different places - the brakfast was also excellent - just suited our need for an overnight stay - the owners were very helpful and friendly

Although booked into the Ivydean we were put into the St,Andrews Hotel across the road. Owned by the same people. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and cosy . The breakfast was excellent . I had only booked the one night but I would definitely revisit. -

Definitely a 5 Star Bed and Breakfast. The owners were good company, the food was very good. The bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. The communal room was relaxing. Very roomy accomodation. We stayed two nights and definitely will return and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Marion was an exceptionally wonderful hostess - she made us feel welcome and comfortable, and even went to a lot of trouble looking up bus schedules and the like.
