This hotel was clean, modern and excellent value for money. The staffwere very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thefacilites in the wheelchair accessible room we booked were the best Ihave seen in any accommodation in the uk, with automatic doors intothe room, a wet room with a seat in the shower, wide doors and loweredhand basin

We were travelling to France early the next morning before the start of breakfast so we were given a takeaway breakfast for the journey! Holiday Inn will definitely be our preferred hotel choice for our next visit!

Everyone was extremely friendly and more than happy to help. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the City Centre but in dire weather (as was this weekend) taxi's are happy to pick up/drop off. - Only stayed overnight but impressed with the helpfulness of the staff, especially reception when booking in.

Quiet location - I was woken by birdsong, not traffic or people in other rooms. Warm sizeable room, window could be opened, comfortable bed, good bath. Arrived on eastbound side, but instructions for crossing motorway were clear, and no problems despite arriving after 11pm. Thank you! -

Staff are friendly, rooms are modern, clean & comfortable. Food is excellent and the bar brasserie is a nice place for an afternoon coffee or evening drink. Sandwich is quaint and full if history, nice to go somewhere which is untouched by commercial businesses, there is not a fast foid or pound shop in sight!
