This hotel should be highly recommended. The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating. Good menu at reasonable prices. Very Scottish feel. - The staff made you so welcome and they always had a nice work to say. The food was superb. Couldn't fault it.

I took a shower at six in morning and for some reason shower won't stop. I went to reception and told them the problem. Surprisingly they had maintenance guys even at six in morning. Cane and fixed the problem in minutes.

I like the fact i can bring my dog here, and he can get plenty of exercise round the lovely lake. Its the second time i have been and is a great stop off point when going on long trips to the Isle of Skye or North of Scotland.I also have been given ground floor rooms with a balcony which is great, because the dog can have his water and food outside.

Efficient and friendly staff.A well furnished and very clean room. Helpful and effective attempts to ameliorate the affects of inclement weather. - friendly and efficient receptionist. Extras like hair dryer, etc in room. Plenty hot water. Large towels.

Would suggest 1. investing in a toast machine so people could help themselves to toast whilst waiting and 2. perhaps lay up the whole room for breakfast. We loved this hotel we stayed in a massive room bigger than our front room, My daughter had her own room and they had put a cot in our room to. The staff where really nice not a miserable person in site very happy to help if needed. View is amazing and the drive up is nice, Not to far from things to do with kids. The hotel is fantastic it has not been modernised like so many others, it has a personality and character of its own. I would reccomend it to anyone. The grounds are beautiful and situated next to a dairy farm. We wanted a value-for-money place where we could arrive late and this was perfect. We had a double and 2 single rooms (allowing our grown-up sons not to share) for the same price as the budget chains with good facilities. Sleeping in the annex we were able to park outside the rooms.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Happy to arrange for me to have meals in room due to having my spaniel along, and even supplying a snack for said dog! When I was delayed due to poor weather, staff waited up for my arrival and gave me a lovely warm welcome at the end of a difficult trip. Basically, make me feel as if I'm visiting with friends.

We were upgraded to a better double room with a bath and shower. Rooms were very big and very comfortable. Huge bed, bath with bubbles and enormous shower. Delicious breakfast.
