fantastic place to stay,ran by lovely couple Steve & Gail.
after a long journey our exhaust bracket on car had snapped,while Gail showed us to our room Steve strapped exhaust up to get us home after our stay.

Great location, good breakfast and very nice clean room. Room about to be renovated (Rydal Suite) which will make it even better. I highly recommend this place. Friendly staff, wonderful choice and quality of breakfasts. The owner, told me he used to own a fish restaurant so that's obviously why the fish dishes are so perfect. Dining room is modern and there was a good atmosphere at breakfast time. Staff were efficient and friendly. Our budget room was clean and cofortable. Perfect for our stay. Limited parking on the premises but lots of free and unrestricted parkining across the road.

Beautiful guest house. The room was a good size, beautifully presented and very clean. What we enjoyed about this weekend was the lovely peace and quiet,location and an excellent place to stay.
The owners ann-marie and paul were lovely and very informative of the surrounding areas..
arrived(a day late; due to really bad snow) to a lovely warm welcome,and a nice piece of cake! The room was fresh and very clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need...

Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel
It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

The staff were very friendly and attentive.The grounds are superb and if you want simply to relax and do nothing the public rooms are delightful places to spend time. - The staff and service were exceptional.
