My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

We went for our 40th Ruby Wedding Anniversary and they made it really special when they found out.

Everything about Littlebeck is fantastic. It is a beautiful place, well decorated, clean and relaxing. A lot of effort has been made to create this and has excellent attention to detail. The hotel communal areas and our room were spotlessly clean and well decorated. Lovely room overlooking the rear gardens. Breakfast was exceptional due to the choice and flexibility of options available. Owners and staff were friendly, but left you to your own devices, which was good. Option to order champagne for the room on arrival, which we did!

The location was very attractive, the accomodation was immaculte, the pub food was really outstanding quality, and the beer in the bar was good. Also the atmosphere in the hotel lounge and bar was very pleasant. All the staff were obliging and helpful. Not many hotels offer this quality of accomodation and facilities. Only thing it would be short on is maybe leasure facility like pool\sauna but guess this would make it a Hotel rather than a pub. Most pleasant and relaxing break.
