Freindly and informative welcome provided by the owners, also the high standard of our room and the welcoming guests sitting room all making for a very comfortable stay - Warm, friendly atmosphere in a lovely location. Very nice with our young grandaughter (7) who was made to feel very welcome.

We wanted a real good value pub as a walking base for the weekend, we found one right in the middle of the lakes. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us - big thanks. The food was straightforward, good quality and great value. The beer was exceptional and again great value. We loved all the fires and so did our dogs. The rooms we ok, nothing special, but clean and comfortable. We will be returning again.

Good friendly atmosphere, comfortable, spotlessly clean recently refurbished room. We booked an evening meal and were delighted with the quality, we had the gammon and haddock (not together) and both were excellent All the staff we met were really friendly and helpfull. -

A most charming inn set in a beautiful location overlooking Skiddaw. Warm welcome from the staff and landlord. Bar staff, waiters seemed part of a warm team enjoying their jobs. The pub/hotel is pet friendly. We had our medium sized, well-behaved dog in the bedroom, and in breakfast with us one day. The waiter helped with a bowl for leftovers/water. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the tidal Kent estuary. Good walks nearby, Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, regular train service to local stations north and south.

The Bridge Inn is olde-worldly and extremely comfortable. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and efficient. The food served in the cosy bar/restaurant was superb and excellent value for money. A great choice of local and guest beers and very convivial atmosphere. Our first visit but certainly not our last.
