I like the helpfulness of the lady at the front desk by the name of Catherine she went way above and beyond the call of duty to help us when our battery was dead she didn't make us call a tow truck she made sure we got jumped right there and made it on our way she was fantastic -

Pretty good hotel , with a pretty good staff . The room (king suite) is
pretty good also.
The hotel is very calm and cheap , and the shuttle lead you everywhere , anytime , in a range of 10 kilometers .
Bart and the Oackland airport are very close . And it take less then a hour to reach SFO international airport for a very cheap price .

Room was large, well equipped and clean.
AC unit bit poorly located to use trough the night.
Location of the hotel is good if you want to stay close to airport.
Otherwise neiborhood was bit "scary".
Nearby Wallmart did not feel very secure/comfortable for not "local" looking couple... Hotel provided courtesy shuttle bus to Wallmart and back, so we didn't need to park our expensive rental car in "risk zone" at the parking lot! Very good service!

Excellent location in Jack London square. Very nice helpful staff. Good free parking on premises. Very close to ocean, lots of dining choices, bars, and revamped area of Oakland. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Had a iron and a hair dryer available to borrow.

Good location when having a car - right off the freeway. Easy access to all destinations in the Bay Area.
Right on waterfront on edge of city, lovely. Rooms on waterfront are quiet.

This place isn't fancy, but it's a clean, very affordable option for a one night stay if you're flying in or out of Oakland. The front desk and shuttle drivers are all very courteous and professional. It ain't the Ritz, but that's not what I wanted or expected. -

young man at the desk found the closest walmart and printed me

My wife is chemically sensitive so it was a nice relief to have a clean
scent & chemical free room. We had brought our own sheets but did
not need to use them. We had a leisurely walk up Telegraph Ave. For a
nice dinner out. Also the location was convenient for our trip. Our
a/c did not work when we checked in but the staff replaced it with
a new one within the hour. We had one of our best nights sleeping in
any motel.
