Were booked for Monday night but arrived, unexpectedly, a day early..in the middle of the night. They accommodated very nicely--giving a good rate and complimentary parking. Easy to find and a really good location, within easy walking distance from downtown. On arrival we got a warm and friendly welcome. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was modern, sound and picture good. There was a small table so I was able to work for several hours quite comfortably. I observed at least a half-dozen fast food restaurants and one upscale restaurant and a couple of take-outs, all within a half-dozen blocks. The heart of downtown San Diego is within 15 minutes walking distance.

The location of the hotel is perfect-it is quite in the centre and very close to the sea, to the train station and etc. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We loved that they were pet friendly, but didn't charge a huge fee like most places do. They gave us a pet gift bag with treats and poop pickup bags for our dog along with a list of pet friendly places to eat in walking distance and doggy day camps in the area. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and recommending this hotel to our friends that have pets. Also we loved the gorgeous bathroom and shower!
