  Were booked for Monday night but arrived, unexpectedly, a day early..in the middle of the night. They accommodated very nicely--giving a good rate and complimentary parking. Parking is very safe--a concern of ours in a downtown setting. A really great location: excellent for getting around especially downtown and for using the transit system.   Easy to find and a really good location, within easy walking distance from downtown. On arrival we got a warm and friendly welcome. We had arrived early but that wasn't an issue, able to leave car in car park and following the advice. The room had all the usual refinements but some nice little touches like swee - It was close to the trolley and I could take that to the convention center. The desk staff, Dustin, went out of his way to call me back and help me with changing a reservation, even though I was using an online booking agent. The bed was comfortable.

  Excellent location, especially if you're driving: right off the freeway, yet walking distance to Downtown and Gaslamp, also just a short bus ride to Balboa Park (#7). Comfortable room with modern facilities. All clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. No breakfast included, but there's a McDonald's just a block away. Overall, highly recommended. (When - The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was modern, sound and picture good. There was a small table so I was able to work for several hours quite comfortably. I observed at least a half-dozen fast food restaurants and one upscale restaurant and a couple of take-outs, all within a half-dozen blocks. The heart of downtown San Diego is within 15 minutes walking distance.

  The hotel was newly renovated and was very nice. The rooms are very spacious and very nicely upgraded. I was impressed with this travelodge. Staff was super friendly and helpful. - The personnel was very kind, even though the cleaning lady was urging us the day we departure (about 30 min before the check-in)

  I'd like to endorse what other travellers have said about this hotel, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and the cookies are fabulous. But for us the best thing about cci is its location pretty much in the middle of Orange. Come out of the hotel and turn right and you go toward the Hotel Del and lots of shops and places to eat (can recommend ... was die leute sagen » the seared Tuna at Tent City and the crab stuffed giant prawns at Brigantine). Turn left and you end up at the ferry landing, again with shops and eat - We loved that they were pet friendly, but didn't charge a huge fee like most places do. They gave us a pet gift bag with treats and poop pickup bags for our dog along with a list of pet friendly places to eat in walking distance and doggy day camps in the area. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and recommending this hotel to our friends that have pets. Also we loved the gorgeous bathroom and shower!
