Staff really knew the area well. They were ready with restaurant
suggestions and willing to make reservations on the spot. Ready to just
be friendly and they were truly welcoming! Also - our son lives locally
and they welcomed him for breakfast one morning - no charge. And
it's a yummy local breakfast! -

Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. Coffee and tea was

The staff at the hotel were great.
The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon.
The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

Location, close to the island explorer free shuttle, restaurants and
shops, comfort of the room, continental breakfast included, Wifi that
was working. Moreover, when you arrive they give you a free weekly
journal very helpful for the low tide to go to Bar island! And a list

Hotel is on Main St in Bar Harbor and close to everything. Park your car and use the free shuttle to go everywhere in Arcadia Nat'l Park. Hotel has great room for continental breakfast, clean and staffed making sure everything is stocked and working. Maid staff and front desk very friendly. Would definitely go back. -
I was there for the mdi marathon. They moved up the breakfast so that
they marathoners could still eat it. I thought that took some foresight
and was very considerate. The location was excellent. I also liked the
sheet that was handed out that told you favorite places in town. It was
honestly a very good experience!

The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. We loved the beach camfire each night with

Very unusual which I liked -
The staff was warm and friendly. The harbor was very close . Shopping
was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good,
with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire
in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers
and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I
learned great tips.

A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. -

The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty.
Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more
relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk
on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. -

It was removed from Bar Harbor central yet 5 minutes away. Quiet with awesome views. Hiedi was informative, pleasant and willing to assist. -
The maid created new towel art for our bed each day. Fun to come back and see what she hsd created. View from our balcony was gorgeous.
