  we just stayed 1 night & had to checked-out of the hotel at 5:30 am the next morning .. for what it is worth, ..., I thought the location to the beach, golf course, & restaurants was ideal 10 of 10. Further down, the jacuzzi bath, sleeper sofa, & small kitchen setup were fantastic 9.5 of 10. It has an elegant design, and it is just right on the beach! Amazing!! The room was big, and the bed very comfortable, cherry on top: Aveda products for you to use in the bathroom.   Excellent hotel, highly recommend staying here. Great location (2-5 minutes from Union Square, Powell St cable car roundabout, bart station, muni stops). We didn't like that the mini bar fridge has an automatic charger if you remove any items. Found out the hard way after we removed several items to fit in some milk we purchased.
