the staff were exceptional, as one of our party of eight has coeliac disease, but not a problem to them, even down to breakfast on sun morning, she was well catered for, thoughtful and freindly personel - Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and we were given an unexpected upgrade to an executive room overlooking the gardens. This was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate in the bar the first day which was good (but some vegetables would have been an added bonus!) When we were departing from the car park we couldn't get out due to an illegally parked car and the hotel staff went out of their way to successfully rectify the problem. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Very central location. We had such a pleasant time and will definately be returning in the near future.

The service from arrival to departure was outstanding, staff were very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel really special. The room was spotless, the super king size bed was blissfully comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to find. This was 5-star luxury at a very reasonable rate. -

The staff were the most friendly and helpful staff in any hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hotels all over the world. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant was good, reasonable and the staff went out of their way to provide customers with whatever they wanted if possible.

It was a lovely place, we requested a ground floor room,(as I use a stick) we were given room 12, the family room, it was a lovely size room, and just off the bar, but nice and quiet.

The rooms were very clean and user friendly. They had obviously recently been refurbished as were the bathrooms. The shower was huge - very luxurious. The staff were the most friendly hotel staff I have ever met. We got lost on the way there and the receptionist stayed on the phone for 20 minutes directing us. I travel a lot for business and pleasure and have never experienced customer service as good as this. The bed was also like sleeping on a cloud.
