The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Chester. The room was modern and clean and the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was lovely too with an excellent choice of menu, all cooked to order. Check in was easy and we were given an unexpected upgrade to an executive room overlooking the gardens. This was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We ate in the bar the first day which was good (but some vegetables would have been an added bonus!) When we were departing from the car park we couldn't get out due to an illegally parked car and the hotel staff went out of their way to successfully rectify the problem. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Very central location. We had such a pleasant time and will definately be returning in the near future.

The service from arrival to departure was outstanding, staff were very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel really special. The room was spotless, the super king size bed was blissfully comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and easy to find. This was 5-star luxury at a very reasonable rate. -

The staff were friendly, informative and very accommodating. It was a really pleasant atmosphere and a lovely location. Also we had dinner on Saturday which started a little late as we were a large group and the restaurant was quite full - we got to dessert and the waiter made it for us as the chef had finished for the day - superb service and more than could be expected.

It was a lovely place, we requested a ground floor room,(as I use a stick) we were given room 12, the family room, it was a lovely size room, and just off the bar, but nice and quiet.

The staff were the most friendly hotel staff I have ever met. We got lost on the way there and the receptionist stayed on the phone for 20 minutes directing us. I travel a lot for business and pleasure and have never experienced customer service as good as this. The bed was also like sleeping on a cloud.
