I found the staff to be very friendly without being fussy. The rooms are excellent and I can say this with experience as I have stayed on numerous occasions. The food is excellent. The hotel is located just outside Abergavenny good views of the countryside. I will be back ( If you are not full)

What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Very helpful and efficient staff. Lovely cosy bar. Comfortable rooms. They even arranged to bring in a hair dryer on the morning for my wife and daughter. Decent beer and a good, well priced wine list. The food was excellent and generous. Should we visit Abergavenny again, we will stay at the Farmers Arms without a doubt.

The Kings Head is a fantastic hotel. The staff are very welcoming and a pleasure to be around. The facilities on site were perfect for the business trip. It made the long journey from London very rewarding when we got to the hotel.
