Of the 12 cottages on the property, the cottage I stayed in was named "Gum Nut cottage". I had stayed in this same cottage while on holiday 10 years ago, but everything inside looked still fresh and new. Very well maintained! The suite had all the essential amenities and more. It was very comfortable and clean. The staff was especially friendly and welcoming, even though we showed up late in the evening. There are new owners who run the property and you can tell they take care and pride in their place. The suites seemed recently painted. The grounds were lovely, filled with beautiful flowers. For the price, it was a great deal.

The owner recommended a excellent place to eat for seniors which we can also recommend. It was the Robin Hood Hotel, this would also apply to others. -

Stayed at the Docklands Quest while in Melbourne to watch the AFL at Eitihad stadium, which is right next door. So location was fantastic, rooms were very modern & comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Location was handy for visiting surrounding villages, the Gateway Village (arts and crafts, tourist information and an excellent café) and the Army Museum. The units were very spacious and well designed. We especially liked the fully enclosed private courtyard at the rear of each unit. -

l found the accomodation excellent, it was a breath of fresh air. Te accomdation from the, linen, bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen all very clean. The linen crisp and white and bathroom was excellent, only issue being is that it was a shoer over spa, for elderly not so easy, managment have told me that all apartments are undergoing renovations.
