  It was at the quieter end of the beach, which suited us, with a fabulous view of the bay, and with carefully worked out parking arrangements. The town seemed to have facilities for all ages - in no particular order; sandy beach, restaurants, interesting shops, a working yet picturesque harbour, castle, nature reserve, small children's funfair, cin... hva folk sier » ema, great scenery in either direction, including the spectacular Chesil Beach and Portland Bill, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. - On the beach and long flat promenade walk in both directions. The owners are welcoming, friendly, eager to oblige and the breakfasts are cooked fresh, individually served and well presented even for my gluten free requirements. It was also great to have a parking facility at the premises.

  A fantastic place to stay, highly recommend. It was like home from home. Good value for money, excellent breakfast, and very accommodating of our little girl.   I liked the warm welcome we received as we walked through the door, the friendliness of all the staff and their willingness to help. The food was very nice with good sized portions. The beer was excellent (Badger.) The location is great for visiting other places all within a reasonable drive time.
