Everything! the website and photos really don't do this place justice, its a whole lot better than you might think from previous reviews. Although I was staying on my own I was made to feel very welcome. At
diner I was offered the best table, near the window overlooking the
bay. The food was very good. I especially liked the wild foraged salad
and the sea buckthorn curd pudding. Chefs were bringing food to table

Welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast of a very high standard and cooked to order, again nothing was too much trouble. Rooms of a very good standard especially the largest of the rooms, with great balcony and masses of space. Despite being only the second lot of guests everything went without a hitch and owners were very positive about our suggestions.

The newly refurbished hotel has very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, though rather quick service on our first night, followed by rather slow the next night. This is probably mostly about being a new staff team, and will no doubt be resolved in the next few weeks. -
