Although I was staying on my own I was made to feel very welcome. At
diner I was offered the best table, near the window overlooking the
bay. The food was very good. I especially liked the wild foraged salad

Welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast of a very high standard and cooked to order, again nothing was too much trouble. Rooms of a very good standard especially the largest of the rooms, with great balcony and masses of space. Despite being only the second lot of guests everything went without a hitch and owners were very positive about our suggestions.

The newly refurbished hotel has very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, though rather quick service on our first night, followed by rather slow the next night. I enjoyed the quirkiness of being on a world war II boat, being at the waters edge, the quietness and peacefulness of the location in Bembridge harbour.
