  I loved everything about my stay at Sylvern House, The owner was so friendly and helpful from start to end. Breakfast was amazing 3 courses and it was so filling and made me and my girlfriend ready for the day ahead! Neither of us had any problem with our room or any other part of the stay.   Lovely warm welcome. We appreciated the help with our luggage to our room (elderly couple). Soon we were offered refreshment in front garden. Garry did everything he could to - The staff were extremely helpful to me and my small children. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the children feel special over and beyond the call of duty. The hotel was clean and well presented and excellent value for money. Being a single parent with two small children I find that most hotels leave us to our own devices which can be a little daunting. Gary was very helpful and totally understood the need to accommodate needs of guests like myself.

The location for shopping is excellent and the hotel has its own secure underground car park, although it is a short walk from the hotel. The food is the best in Scarborough.
