The rooms were not only spotlessly clean they also looked and felt fresh, bright and new even though the building is very old and full of character.

Castlelodge was the best B&B experience was ever had. We stayed there with our 2 young children who loved the freedom to play outside. The owners were so friendly and welcoming we felt like we came to visit friends, not just staying at B&B. Lovely bedroom, amazing living room with a 3D TV, pool table, very comfy bed, rooms and the whole B&B equipped in everything you would need. Highly recommended

Eggs and cakes a nice welcoming touch and the birdlife right outside the window is a treat to see. Lots of things to do locally including fishing and visiting the red-kite centre, walking opportunities and lots to do in the local spa town.Time your visit right and you may get to sample the chocolates and confectionery handcrafted by the owners and available to buy to take home with you!!
