We received a very friendly greeting from Nicky, as though she had been waiting for the arrival of someone she already knew. The breakfasts were excellent, and the tables in the dining room were not too close together. Our room had a lovely view over the garden, and was very peaceful. This is our second time staying and we were very pleased to be going back. Owner is very friendly and the rooms we have had had been recently refurbished and are clean and comfortable. High quality breakfast and very relaxed feel. Best bits of staying in a hotel and some one's home.

Well we picked a good time to go as there was a carnival on the day we arrived which was very good and beer festival with music which was enjoyable. The hotel entertainment was also good.

Had read some early bad reports from a while back, and went with some reservation. There was no need to worry. All aspects of our stay was brilliant. We in particular enjoyed the two evening dinners we had in the restaurant.

Dave and sandie were brilliant and went out of their way to make you welcome. Room very comfortable. We had the superior double. Very spacious. Everything was spotless.
