  We received a very friendly greeting from Nicky, as though she had been waiting for the arrival of someone she already knew. The breakfasts were excellent, and the tables in the dining room were not too close together. Our room had a lovely view over the garden, and was very peaceful. My husband had a small accident with the towel rack in the bathroom, but this was no problem to Nicky and it was fixed by the time we returned that - This is our second time staying and we were very pleased to be going back. Owner is very friendly and the rooms we have had had been recently refurbished and are clean and comfortable. High quality breakfast and very relaxed feel. Best bits of staying in a hotel and some one's home.

Comfortable room - its not a hotel so don't expect that type of room style but it was nice and clean and comfortable and more welcoming than a traditional B&B - it is a guest house which I prefer. 10 minute walk to pub and probably another 10mins to harbour.   This farm is absolutely adorable! It was already dark when we got close there, thus difficult to find out where it is. But Alison actually came out of the house to guide us after we called her.   Our favourite hotel on our trip.We booked a small room with en suite and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the harbour. Food was great, people were friendly and a very relaxed attitude. We loved Ilfracombe itself, so much to do and see. Plenty on offer for all types of people. Lovely breakfast and huge portions. Nothing was too much trouble and even carried our bags up to our room when we said we could manage. Highly recommend paying the extra for a luxury room, the spa bath was fantastic size with plenty of hot water and room for two! Also the huge bed was straight out of fifty shades and really comfy.

  The waiters, waitresses and bar staff were very nice. Andy and Keeley especially were nice and friendly and good at their job - always smiling. Have told loads of family and friends to g - Had read some early bad reports from a while back, and went with some reservation. There was no need to worry. All aspects of our stay was brilliant. We in particular enjoyed the two evening dinners we had in the restaurant.

  This is an exceptional property on all ways, starting with the owners. They were so helpful and friendly. They understood our frustration, being jet-lagged.The property is an oasis of calm and relaxation, perched on a side hill not far from the coastline. Couldn't ask for anything more. Fantastic hotel, stayed in a disabled room and there was nothing we needed that wasn't in there. Breakfast was delicious, excellent selection, freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly stay there again.
