Staff very helpful allowed us to check-in earlier than stated. We could leave our luggage safe for a few hours after we checked-out. Room had a lovely view and was very comfortable. Gorgeous setting with lovely, hospitable hosts. The inn is very warm, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect time to interact with other interesting quests. It is a nice 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We stay in B and B's frequently, and Kirkland Barns is among the best we have experienced! -

A warm and inviting hotel situated on a bus line to take you to Dundee with 10 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was clean and had ensuite privileges. Staff were pleasant and accomodating when we showed up a few hours prior to the check in time. The hotel has a lounge/bar area, a sunroom, patio and a restaurant. All meals were fabulous. -

Liked the little touches - nice bathrobes,slippers provided, coffee/tea tray. Staff in the bar were lovely. Lovely breakfast, served a bit earlier for us as we had a fishing trip booked and needed to leave 10-15mis after breakfast should start.

The person we met with to check-in was very friendly and explained everything well.
The room was very tidy and the bathroom in particular was of a very high order, it looked new with a new powerful shower unit. The beds were also comfortable, and there was little-no road noise or other noise.
